How to Update Call Status based on another Call ID .. !
I have a senario like this , Pls help !
We have Two Departments. One is "Workshop" and Other "Field". Both will open new service calls. Field guy's will bring items to repair, and will put to workshop. There will be a Job No for Field and one for WS separately.
When Workshop Job is completed (status = completed), I need to change the status of the related Field job to be "Ready for Deliver".
I have added a Filed called "Field Job No" in Workshop TAB under service call in order to track.

Did you try working with workorders? You can automatically create workorders and attach it to the servicecall and then serialize them. Then assign the first workorder to workshop and the second one to the Field.
