How can I set step order to executing DB rule ?

Hello.

I make 2 DB rule.
A)changing information field from "aaa" to "bbb", if it field contain "aaa".

B)execute command.(This command use information field for command's argument)

I want to set step order for its rule(Rule A is always executed before rule B. However, I can't use "schedule the validation"(I can't usr it for my customer's reason. it's difficult to explain. I'm sorry).
Please let me know how can I do it without "schedule the validation"

Re: How can I set step order to executing DB rule ?

Hello,

Go to db rules. Change the view from "Rules by category (System)" to "Database Rule (System)". By doing that the down and up arrows at the right of the view name will be active. Now either select rule aaa an press the up arrow, as many times as necessary, until it moves above bbb or select bbb and press down arrow, as many times as necessary, to move it below aaa.

If you have many rules, this would be take sometime and there is a possibility to get a random movement of the rule.

Unfortunately there is no easy way to change DB rule ordering.

Hello,
You can place the two actions in a single rule in the order in which you wish that they are applied. Also you can place a control variable in rule "B" and when the rule "A" is executed it assigns the necessary value to him so that these are true and rule" B "can be executed.
