Re: HP Service Desk 5.0. trainings available

Hi,

I don't know How begin the trainings, but I think this will be when HPSD has been released the version to upgrade from 4.5 to 5.0 and that is in July 2006 and will be Service Desk 5.1

In fact, HP recommends use ServiceDesk 5.0 for either evaluation purposes or new projects.

I hope this help with your Question.

Re: HP Service Desk 5.0. trainings available

Hi Everyone,

I am working on a new installation of v5.0 and need Administrator training ASAP. Could an HP representative tell us when this will run in the US?

Re: HP Service Desk 5.0. trainings available

Hello All,
I to am looking for information on HPoV SD v5.0. The manuals are not enough for my needs.
The first install took 3 days. We found out 3 things:
1.) The location of the installer package *cannot* contain spaces.
2.) You cannot install using Remote Desktop - use VNC.
3.) AD domain accounts for the install did not work - use a local account.
4.) Changing the default location to install --> to - Changing the drive letter is OK, but not the path. #4 could be from the installer not uninstalling completely.

I hope this reply is OK. I just wanted to share the informaiton that I have found out so far and I am no means an expert.
...probably should start a new thread.
