Generating reports from History field by defining views such as Table/Chart view.

Hi,
Is it possible to generate reports(by defining some views) for extracting the following information from History field of Service Calls.

1) Time taken to log a service call.
2) Time duration when Status field changes from Registered" to "In Progress".
3) Frequency of updates on service call

Can anybody let me know is this achievable by defining new views for service calls.

Hi Srini,

You cannot use History field of OVSD in any of Rules/Audit/Views/Filters/Find/etc. OVSD has a limitation for all such fields (64K fields).

However, you can get your required information through Analyzed data (Administrator Console --> Analyzed Data). If you don't see any reports under Analyzed data, check whether they are enabled for generation, through Administrator Console --> System Panel --> Report Settings. If not enabled, enable them and re-generate/refresh the anayzed data.
