FTP-Error 550 No such file or directory

We have just upgraded to SP17 and have now just started to test using the FTP attachments. We had no previous FTP Attachment.

We set the Attachment settings and the Test Conenction is succesful. I have added a text doc to several Service Calls and they appear to attach and I can see the content in the FTP server. But when I double click or right click and open the attachment I get the following error:

FTP-error: 550 pub/Servicecall/000/000/000/000/000/000/010/004/911/b17/3b/00000000-0000-0000-0001-000491920973: No such file or directory.

The FTP server is a HP-UX box running Unix.

Re: FTP-Error 550 No such file or directory

Further:
I can use same credentials to FTP to server and do a Get on the file and put to local pc and open it so I don't think it's a permission issue.

Do you really have Servicecall directory on Your FTP server? If not - you need to create
one with write right for the user used by SD.

You need to do the miss detailed step.
Detailed steps are:

Install perl 5.8 or higher.
Stop application server.
Back up existing attachments.
Create new attachment root folder and check disk space.
Execute the migration script.
!!! rename the old attachemtn folder, !!!
Upgrade service desk.

Re: FTP-Error 550 No such file or directory

We have not previously had or used attachments so do we need to do the upgrade?

Service Desk seemed to create the Servicecall folder on the FTP and the folder/file structure is the new structure with deep folders.

I can attach items and then find and get them from FTP. I just can't get them from Service Desk??
