Exporting view data from SD 4.5 to Excel

I need to have the ability to automatically export data into an Excel spreadsheet. Through the Export wizard I can do it fine, however, I would like to automate the process.

Can I accomplish this via sd_export.bat? What type of config file would I need?

sd_export.bat file is basically for data-exchange process. It can export the data from any of the ODBC compliant databases. You need to mention the required data to be gathered, on the configuration file. However, this will export only to XML format. So, it may not be useful to you.

Hi
Use a Crystal Reports or select in SD records "COPY" and in Excel "Paste Spetcial.."

I have the same problem:

sd_export should be able to do export to txt file, but it is not working:(

You can use Excel feature: "Data->Import External data". I have created query that should be refreshed every day to get new data in Excel. This is working, but still manual work is needed.
