Export data from Active Directory with static values

Dear all,

we use AD as data source. The export and import runs fine.
To be able to control specific values I would in best case need the possibility to provide values like 'TRUE' or 'FALSE' or even better strings already during the export.

So far I did not find a solution for that.

Can anybody help?

Re: Export data from Active Directory with static values

Hello Oliver,

If you are using Radovan Skolnik's excellent LDAP Exporter you can use BeanShell expressions to accomplish what you want.

The tool:

Re: Export data from Active Directory with static values

Yes, I expected that this tool is able to provide that functionality.

But I still would prefer to receive information about the "on board export" and its possibility to specify static values.

Anyway, thank you for this information.

Can anybody else answer my question?

Re: Export data from Active Directory with static values

select statement (which is used during export and specified in ini-file) can return static values.
For example
select 'STATIC',table_field from table

It seems to me that you can specify this in ini -file as
COLUMNS='STATIC' as [FIRSTCOLNAME],\
[table_field],\

Or you can even use CASE operator to conditionally return TRUE or FALSE.
//Add this to "OnDomLoad" event
