Expanded and Collapsed Views

Hi there,

I want to collapse all my Service Desk console views by default, including CMDB inventory views, Service Call views and maybe even Administrator Section. I try to collapse all views manually and cache the view locally but each time I re-enter a section, the view is by default expanded.
I have looked into the Views but cannot find a way to do this.
Has anyone managed to collapse any views by default for all Service Desk users please?

I am on version 4.5 SP15

Hi,

Edit the view and go into "Group By"
At the bottom of this view there is an option to "Expand All" or "Collaspe All"

Change the setting via the admin console to affect the system views. Locally created views wil have to be updated manually.

Yep, that's correct. You can also customize current view through view --> Define Views. However, this change is system wide and hence, will affect all the users using those views.

Thats great, working now with the "All Expanded" field deselected in the view from the Admin console.
