Excite at commands from servicedesk?

Could service desk excite at commands with passing parameters from service desk data base?

I am not sure what you mean by "excite" - are you thinking or "start"? or "exit"?

Yes indeed.

You might first define an application which runs your executable, "at". Then you create a Smart Action that calls the application and passes to it parameters from the currently selected item, as well as most of its related items.

You run the smart action from the menus.

Alternatively, you may run applications from the business rules.

I think that Josh means in this case a DB rule since you want to send db information :-)

In fact, Josh means that you can run executables and smart actions from UI rules, and you can run applciations from DB rules, both of which allow you to pass parameters to those applications based on data in the OVSD database.
