Hi All,

I am using SD4.5 with SP17 and created a new server with SD4.5 with SP23. Restored database from sp17 to sp23 server and i did upgradtation of sp23 database. All the data has been imported successfully am able to see updated data on new server. when i trying access any of the recored from any module am getting same error mentioned below.

JDBC error 904: ORA-00904: "T1"."TEM_RCD_OID": invalid identifier
, SQL state: 42000 for query: SELECT T1.tem_oid AS C0
,T1.tem_ent_oid AS C1
,T1.tem_name AS C2
,T1.tem_cat_oid AS C3
,T1.tem_defaulttemplate AS C4
,T1.tem_rcd_oid AS C5
FROM rep_templates T1java.sql.SQLException: ORA-00904: "T1"."TEM_RCD_OID": invalid identifier.

We are using backend as a oracle9.x

Did you get the appserver to run with the restored database before doing upgradtation?

I'd start by comparing rep_templates tables between the two databases.

Hope this helps.
Points (and pints) are welcome.

Hi Pike,

it was working earlier to database restoration. Once i did db restoration. am getting the error.

I have compared tables on bot SP17 and SP23 both are same but i have onmore setup of sp23 eith default data. If i compare sp23 defalt database with sp23 restored db one column is missing i.e "TEM_RCD_OID" on sp23 restored.

Any idea....

Thanks in Advance,

TEM_RCD_OID is there in my sandbox SP23 database.
You might want to try that backup/restore once more...

Points are welcome.

Re: Error while accessing record(service call, Incident, person, ci etc..)

Hi Pike,

Issue got resolved.

Root Cause is: Database restored but table space has not been create by my DBA. After Creating Table space and Temp table space every thing is working fine.
