Error on opening HPSD client

Hi,

java.lang.RuntimeException : Unexpected EOF , before openning user and password screen.
Does anyone had a similar problem ? What can i do ?

Re: Error on opening HPSD client

Check the file with size 0K on C:\Documents and Settings\\Application Data\Hewlett-Packard\OpenView\Service Desk and delete it.

Re: Error on opening HPSD client

It didn´t worked, because I don´t have this path, and another person, which station the HPSD client works fine, also don´t have this path, too.
It could be the version of Java SDK or Runtime Environment ?

Re: Error on opening HPSD client

Hello Andre,

You don't have that path because its a hidden folder.
Go to Start -> Control Panel -> Folder Options -> View tab -> select Show hidden files and folders.
Search for "Document and Settings" when you find it go to it and select user folder (it can be Administrator or Kalyani). Now you should be able to see folder Application Data, open it and delete folder Hewlett-Packard from it.

Manoj

Re: Error on opening HPSD client

Andre, the folder can be found in the installed path [C:\Program Files\Hewlett-Packard\OpenView\service desk 4.5\client\Profiles\Prod]. Delete the files[Forms.dat, ..] with size 0KB.

//Add this to "OnDomLoad" event
