Documentation of Roles

I am searching for a way to document the functions of the roles in our SD 4.5 System. Does anybody have expirences in setting up a documentation for the roles?

Hi Michael,

I was disapointed to see that i coukd not add details of what each role was for to the actual role form. To help I just created a spreadsheet with the role name and a desciption and inculded any extra settings that were in addition to the predefined template that we use for creating roles.

This is posted in an admin teamroom for others to read.

Also I used pre defined naming conventions to make it clear what the role was by loking at it.

Michael,

We use an Excel table to document some of the access rights of roles. It gives a synoptic view that is fairly easy to validate.
