Display screen for record list

Hi all,

I created a new object and put the state for it db.list. Unfortunately I cannot see any display options (mass delete, mass update etc.) when I search for the new records (on the list, the ones on the record itself are fine), and I cannot change the focus from the first record opened (it always reverts back to the first one). I think there is some problem with the display screen but can't find out what.

Any help is appreciated
Thanks

Re: Display screen for record list

Hi Zoran,

Mass delete and mass update option are controlled through format control of concerned form if no OOB profile is define. In your case go to fc or create new with same name as your format and in privileges tab give conditions as you desire.

And regarding display screen look for other OOB object records(for which no profile is define in operator record and having db.ist as list state).

hth,

Re: Display screen for record list

Thanks for the quick answer. The problem is that I don't even have buttons like Refresh, which should be there regardless of profiles or anything. It just seems as though the db.list display screen is not functional on the record list. Is there anyway to check that? when I click into the list I see a display screen from the record itself (XXX.view)

Re: Display screen for record list

Hi,

Is you db.list ds is working right on other modules? check it.

And also look for your newly created object record.

Re: Display screen for record list

Yes no problem on other modules. My object record is fine aswell. Is there any other way that the display options are determined for a record list?

Re: Display screen for record list

Here is the screenshot of the object record and the screenshot showing no display options on the list. I have also tried using db.search instead of the one here and no dice. I have tried with a qbe form defined and without.

Thanks

Re: Display screen for record list

Hi,

Every thing seems to be right.
You should raise a case against HP support for the same.
