How do I delete the cache files on the SD client/server machine.

To empty the server cache, delete the contents of C:\Program Files\Hewlett-Packard\OpenView\service desk 4.5\server\cache

And to delete the client cache, delete everything except user_settings.xml in C:\Documents and Settings\\Application Data\Hewlett-Packard\OpenView\Service Desk

Hi Kumar,

If you have local setting like locally adjusted views, you should also not delte the views.dat.

i also have problem in my server , alot NBU_VSP_Cache files are consuming more disk space and it can be found everywhere in local drives, please advice...thanks
