Dead line for Subcontract

Hi!
I wonder how to set Deadline for new created Subcontract.

We use Proiority to set Deadline. Based on which Priority (plus created date, SLA, ect) we set, the system sets Deadline automatically.

But we get problem if we begin to use Subcontract. Because Subcontract is always created later than parent call. And it should not be finised later than parent call. But in our case, when we create a subcontract call, the child deadline is a date which later than parent.

Any ideas how to solve this? or how did you implement subcontract function?

I tried to write in some functions in Function field, but it seems impossible just type in.

Many thanks,
Lee

Re: Dead line for Subcontract

Hello Lee,

Create a db rule like this:

When service call is created
where NOT (Subcontract call;Subcontract call from servicecall;ID is empty)
Set deadline to Service Call to which this call is subcontract call (Update Data) Deadline set to [Subcontract call Subcontract call from servicecall Deadline]

This rule will be triggered upon creation when service call is subcontract service call. Then it will set deadline to the deadline of the service call to which is subcontract call.

You can use also a function like "remove timespan from" if you like.
