Date field Update

Hi All,

Is it at all possible to update a date field with today's date and time 17:00.

My Scenario.

I want to create a rule that updates a date field when a call is medium proirity to current date 17:00. I cannot seem to get this to work with a DB or UI rule.

Hi Gavin,

when you are setting up your rule in the Update Data section select the date field to be updated and instead of setting a value you should be able to select a "Function" which should give you the option to set the date field to "Current Date"

Yes I can set to current date, but that gives me the date and time now. I want it to be date (today) and time 17:00.

Hi Gavin,
try to use External System triggered by a UI Rule.
via Exgernal System you can do "anything" you need...so you can send to a servlet you current date and retrive from this servlet result current date & 17:00 and simply put this value in your date field
