DB rule - parameters of Command Exec Action

Hi,

sorry if this question has been submitted before.
Excuse me my poor english writing skill and the long explanation.

When I create a DB rule with a Command Exec Action, I include some fields of a service call as parameters to the command I am calling.
However, any of these parameters may contain whitespaces in it, so the DOS batch command turns to evaluate "John Doe" as 2 parameters instead of 1.

Is there a way to enclose a parameter preserving whitespaces ? I tried single quotes, double quotes, with no success.

Thanks in advance,
zagab

Hi Zagab,

Can you post your command exec action here?

Re: DB rule - parameters of Command Exec Action

Hi Mark,

the Command line contains
C:\scripts\automaticApproval.bat

the Parameters contains
[ID] [Name] [Category]

The batch file text:
@C:\PHP\php.exe -f C:\scripts\automaticApproval.php %1 %2 %3

Thanks
