Custom SNMP tags

Hello forumers,

I have an OPC server (HiOPC) running on a DL380 G4 server (MS W2K3 SP1).

In the attached screenshot you can see 5 entries in the OPC server with a 1. Meaning these servers can be pinged(are available).
I would like to have the same but than for software applications. If running, a 1 is required and if shut down our crashed (reason doesn't matter) a 0 is required.

The information in the OPC servers must come via SNMP. (probably polled variables)

Is this possible? And if possible how can I accomplish this!

Furthermore I would like the same as above but then for some internal hardware components (CPU, HDs, fan, etc) is this possible. I know that, if failed an SNMP trap can be send using HP Insight Management Agents. But this is not what I am looking for.

Thx for the help,

Siver

PS. I dont know if this is the right place for this question but I didnt know where to put it.
