Current Date value

Hello all

I am using a UI rule to update a comment field(in the CMDB). I can't find a field that has the value of "todays date" or "created date" does it exist or how do you crate it.

Thanks.

Re: Current Date value

In the UI rule select the field then set the value to "Current Date".
Your problem is that the current date function is not available for a text field. You could create a numeric field called Todays_Date and set a UI rule to populate this with the current date when a CI is opened and then set another rule to copy the value from that field into your text field

However there should be a field called registered which you could use if you are looking for the date the CI is registered. if not create a numeric field and set it to update this field when a CI is created with the date / time.
