Re: Crystal Report Object ID numbers appears exponential format

Hello Hadi,

It's formating issue on Crystal Reports. We also use Crystal Reports XI and have no such problems with OIDS.

Hello Hadi,

See the attached picture. It is certainly formating problem (maybe it's Crystal reports bug, I don't know).

Hi George,

Yours formatting appears to be the same as mine, I changed it to what you supplied it made no difference, I am using SD 5.1, which database and version are you using?

Re: Crystal Report Object ID numbers appears exponential format

Hello Hadi,

It's 4.5 but it doesn't make a difference. In both version OID is decimal(18,0)

Hello Hadi,

Truly, I have no idea. Maybe you should contact Business Objects.

Re: Crystal Report Object ID numbers appears exponential format

Hi
I have an idea: in your first screenshot some of oid display normally (1234567) and others in 2e+017. Maybe some numbers too long to display? You should try to extend field size, make it more wide

Re: Crystal Report Object ID numbers appears exponential format

Hi,
Can you try giving this field some more area on the report. Sometimes if the field length is small it gets auto adjusted to exponential format.
