Creating a new Service call (5000 restriction error)

Hi

I have a issue when creating a new call, when browsing the list of callers, I get the following error.

''Quick Find cannot show all objects because the query restrictions of 5000 for %e is exceeded. Press cancel, fill in a distinctive Name and then Press Enter to reduce the list for Quick Find.''

This is actually from another users Machine, that claims he did define a name.

Would like to know if i can hape peace of mind that its not a major issue. But just a User Error.

Thank you
Daniel

Re: Creating a new Service call (5000 restriction error)

Hi Daniel,

I would not worry - ask the user to capture a screen shot of this happening so you can see what he has typed.

Hope this helps, Ruth

Re: Creating a new Service call (5000 restriction error)

Hi daniel,

that message apepars when you click on Quick Find and the amount of records that the quick find window is trying to bring exceeds the Query Restriction that you have defined (5000).

It looks like this is appearing when selecting a caller, go to Presentation> Search> Person> Search tab> Restricted to (5000).

This is not an error, actually is used to avoid heavy load of the application and DB queries trying to bring large amount of records constantly.
