When we close a Service Call we send out an email notification message to the user giving them the description and solution to the Service Call.
We would like to start getting feedback from users once the email notification has been sent, as to wether they were happy with the way the service call was handled.
Ideally we would like the email notification to contain a web link to a web-api application that will generate a sub-contract service call (copying everything from the original service call including history lines).
Can this be done with a web api application (or service pages?)
If not, what else could we do to achieve a similar result?
Hi Perhaps you accept more easy solution: add to notification e-mail line - mailto:email@example.com?subject=Update%201234&Body=Status=Rollback%0D%0AInformation="abcd" , with text if you not agree with Solution ...... use this link to send feedback, add your text after Infromation.
But unfortunately we donâ t want the service call to remain open, as once the issue is resolved it needs to be closed (to remain in SLA, etc). A new Service Call needs to be created and then linked to the first service call (relation, subcontract call, etc).
