Connect a form to a template?

Hi all!
In our organisation we have customized two change forms that we want to use. One for all new changes (RFC) and one for all documented changes (standard changes). We have also made a template to use when creating a "standard change", but how can we make sure the "standard change" template is inserted automatically when we choose the "Standard change" form? The standard change form and template are not the default ones.

Thanks !

Re: Connect a form to a template?

Hi Carols,

what Service Pack are you on. You can only have one default template and one default form which is your current situation.

I think in the latest Service Pack this changed and is more adaptable.

Re: Connect a form to a template?

Hi Mark

We're on SP 14 at the moment.
We won't upgrade to SP 18 as we want to migrate to version 5.1.

Which SP were you reffering to?

Re: Connect a form to a template?

Carlos,

On SP 14 you cannot do this. It requires a manual selection of the template.

The way you work around it is by using a UI rule to set the values you want based on, for example, the category you choose.
