Client 2008 - E-Mail function template

We are using Service Desk 4.5 with SP 28 and Client 2008.

In the Servicecalls there is a E-Mail function for sending E-Mails direct of the Servicecalls.

I want to edit the template but I do not find it. Can anyone tell me where the template for this E-Mail function is?

Re: Client 2008 - E-Mail function template

Same place where all other Templates are.

Admin Console > Data > Templates > E-mail Service Call.

Re: Client 2008 - E-Mail function template

I'm sorry to tell you but his was not the right place. This section is empty, no templates at all.

Any other possibilities?

Re: Client 2008 - E-Mail function template

Well, that's where they *should* be. After all, templates can be 'stored' under other category folders.

Try creating a new Service Call E-mail and use the Template selection button, see where it takes you and notice where the E-mail templates are.

Points are welcome.

Good idea....

but it shows no template. See attachment.
But it must be somewhere....

Re: Client 2008 - E-Mail function template

Could it be that this is NOT an e-mail message created from the E-mail Service Call functionality but just a good ol' Outbound e-mail message acknowledging a user Update?

In that case, I'd go in and check Administrator Console > System Panel > E-mail > E-mail Templates > Service Call Update.

Hope this helps.

Re: Client 2008 - E-Mail function template

Thanks for the hint. It was not the solution but helped me to find the right location.

I found it!!!

It is a UI Rule in the section "E-mail ServiceCall"

Dont know why it has been done this way, but now I can edit it.

Thanks for all the help!
