Check Boxes

I have created some custom fields that are check boxes that I added to a Service Call form. I've noticed when you open up a new service call the check boxes are "greyed". There is a grey check in the box, almost like its checked, but it's not. Is there a way to make it so that the check boxes are empty and not "greyed"?

Re: Check Boxes

Hello,

Greyed check box means that the field is NULL. In order to make it unchecked through UI rules you must initialize to False.

Re: Check Boxes

I was hoping there was something I could do other than a UI rule, but a UI rule that sets the checkbox field to false when a new service call is opened did the trick.

Re: Check Boxes

You can set the check boxes in the Template to "No". Click the check box in the template "Yes" and then click it off "No". The Check box will then have the default value of "No"
//Add this to "OnDomLoad" event
