Change an Work Orders Rules

Hi all,

I want to know if it is possible to create a DB rule, in this way:

Then the status of a Change is "Rejected", then the Status of "related" Work Orders passes to Closed (for example).
Thanks,

Sonia.

Re: Change an Work Orders Rules

Hi Sonia,

Yes: use a DB rule

When Chnage is modified
where Status(*) is Rejected
Action:
Update data, check the "Select a related item" box and select "work orders from the drop down on the right
Then select status and the value you wnat to set.

Hope this helps, Ruth

Re: Change an Work Orders Rules

Hi,

are you creating a DB rule? The check box is available for DB rules.

Post a screenshot so we can see where you are missing the checkbox.

Re: Change an Work Orders Rules

Hi Mark,
I think she means she hadn't noticed the checkbox rather than it is not there.

English is not her first language but her's is certainly better than my spanish!
