Capturing two values in status

Hi All,

System handle is SD 4.5 on windows platform.

We have following status in Configuration Management:

1. Production
2. testing
3. Installed
4. Stock
5. Scrap

We want one notification to be sent from SD in teh way as given below:

Status of CI with [Search Code] has been changed from .... to .... by user.

Now the challenge is status field can have only one value which is currently existing.

e.g if sttaus field has been changed production to stock. It can only have "Stock" now.

But mail should come saying that status of CI has been changed from "Production" to "Stock".

Please let me know if this is possible.

Regards,
Crystenia

Re: Capturing two values in status

You could work around this by creating an entity reference custom field that maps to the Status. Then you could have 2 Status fields on the form.

Then create a Text field to concatenate the information you need and finally a DB Rule to send the e-mail containing what ended up in the concatenated text field.

I haven't tested it but you may want to give it a try.

Hope it helps.
