Cant view workgroups in HP Servicedesk 4.5

I have a user, when he opens HP servicedesk 4.5 he gets the following error msg - com.ms.wfc.data.AdoExeption

The only option is ok. He cannot view any workgroups at all. I have cleared cache completely reinstalled completely, recreated profile, and he still cant view any workgroups. Anyone know of this?

ADO errors have something to do with a broken OS. Does the error occur for the user on another PC? If not then a rebuild is needed or an ADO fix. Try reinstalling MDAC on the PC.

Thanks for that. I think it is definately PC specific, he can run it fine from other machines. I was hoping not to reimage the PC. I will try reinstalling MDAC first, but I think a reimage will be needed.
