Cannot create service call thru system in Service Desk 5.1 with patch 3

Hi,
We have installed Service Desk 5.1 with patch 3, but i am facing a unique problem...i.e
i cannot log a new service callvwith user as a system as it says:
You do not have a template for service call
Where do i assign template to system,as the system administrator opens in read-only...

Please suggest to resolve this ASAP

hello

u should at least have the out of box templates on ur system, anyways go to system admin and select the service call templates if there is not templates then create one, u should b able to use in with the system account after that.

Hi Amit

Hope, template is not relate to the user role so u are not able to create new service call.

Login through system account. Go to roles from users. Select the user account click edit.

Go to service call and advance. in this u will find template tab. Relate the appr template for the user.

Thanks for your reply...
I have tried all wat u all have suggested.
By problem is i cannot assign a template coz system adminstrator roles opens in read only mode...so i think creating a new template will not solve my problem...
Has any one faced this issue...
Please suggest ASAP

Please find the attached screen shot for which i have assigned template but still i cannot login...
we have only 1 named user license and 0 concurrent user...can it be a problem with license that it makes system administrator role in read only...

Hi amit,

The system admin role is read only but can access ALL templates and so there is no need to assign it.

Could you post screen shots of all the steps you do when logging a call?
