Cannot close SC's, Incidents, etc windows

Everytime I click the SAVE&CLOSED button the Service Call window remains opened on my screen and it wont go away even if you click FILE->EXIT or the "X" mark on the upper right corner.

The only thing you can do to make the window to go away is to close the whole application.

This happens also with Incidentss, Changes, etc.

Any ideas what the problem is?...Thanks in advanced.

Re: Cannot close SC's, Incidents, etc windows

This also happens to me sometimes in service calls when the application server has load.

There is though another way to force the closing of this "undead" windows. Use advanced find and enter the id of the item that remains open. Double click from there to open and once opened just close it without saving. The window will go away. However if you have this kind of trouble in every item you should open a case to hewlett packard. I cannot because i cannot easily duplicate it.

Cesar,

I have also seen this. Another way round it is to click Save & New then close the resulting 'new' window without saving changes.

Kind regards,
Scott.

Stephen is right, providing that you don't assign IDs on creation.
