Can I set ServiceCall Status to custom field?

Can I set "ServiceCall Status" to custom field "Last Status",DB rule or UI rule?

Hi there,

You will not be able to do this using an update action on a rule to say set status=last status.

To do this you will need n rules (where n is the number of statuses, each with a condition that says if
"Last status" is exactly "status name"
Action set Status to the value "Status name"

I haven't try this myself where you set a code field to a custom code field. I guess it will be important to ensure that your custom field is of type CODE and that the list of CODES matches those CODES for the STATUS.
If despite ensuring compability for the the 2 fields, it fails, then you should follow Ruth suggestion, which sets Status based on its own codes depending on the condition of the custom field.

to Ruth: It is complicated,but I try to do it.We have got 16 status:)
