Re: CI User of Child CIs

Not possible via interface or DB Rule. Would need to write small JAVA module taking parent CI as parameter, then it could retried User relations and copy for each Child.

I'd say review your process and decide that it is not necessary - a user of Parent CI is assumed to be user of its children.

Re: CI User of Child CIs

Mike is right,

this could be handled via API

I have created some code one day for a customer. For some reason this piece of code wasn't implemented at customer site due to switch of procedures...but it might be useful for you or others.

You need to compile it before using it.

Re: CI User of Child CIs

Thank you, Jasper

This is exactly what I need but I still need your help.
I tried to use it with Command Exec Action, see the attachment file with screen shot. Maybe I am wrong with Command line and also I don't know how to use Filed to display CI id of Parent.

Please, tell me how to do this.

Best Regards,

Viki

I forgot to attach log file from execution of the following command line:
C:\API>java -cp -classpath=.;c:\API;c:\API\web-api.jar UpdCIChildWithParentInfo 192.168.20.128 system servicedesk 2437 2
