CASE Sensitive for HPSD

We understand that HPSD is case-sensitive. We would like for it not to be. are there any wor arounds for this? thanks

When searching, Service Desk is by default case senstive but this option is able to be deactivated when the searching occurs (uncheck match case in the more choices tab of the advanced find window).

Additionally, certain fields are forced to uppper case (searchcodes mainly) and if you are searching against a field that must be entered in upper case, the system will force your search argument to upper case as well.

Tim, are you guys using Knova for Knowledge Base and if so, are you using the Knova Interface to HPSD? Thanks

We have not used Knova. Sorry.
