Assignment fields not visible

Hi,

I'm trying to deal with the following problem without success. I'm using SD5:

My SC Assignement field shows up in the SC form when i'm using the Console as administrator, but not when using my helpdesk user profile.
I'm using the same Form on both consoles. My first though was that it has to do with permissions, so I gave my helpdesk profile permissions for Person and Workgroup (Fields shown on Assignment field). But it didn't produce any change...

Any thoughts on something to try to solve this?

Hi,

Some changes will not show up until you have logged off and logged in again. Could this be the issue?

I have seen issues in the past (although not for 5.0) where changes appear to be in a buffer which is not getting flushed. Bumping the application server resolves this.

You can define access at the item level AND at the field level. Have you checked that you have not inadvertently hidden the field for certain roles ?

Thanks for your quick help.

I tryed to restart the Server, with no results.
I have the field set to 'Write' on my Helpdesk role, so it shouldn't be hidden.

How about view rights on the assignment object?
