How do I activate the approval tab on my change form?

Hello Yvonne,

For approval to be active the "Initiator" field must be filled.

As I have noticed the sysadmin can set as initiator anyperson he wants.

All the others must set theirselves as inititator provided that the person is linked to an account.

Right. And you can give the rights of choosing others as initiators to any/all designated persons using Roles.

Hi Yvonne,

We set up a UI rule to populate the Initiator field with the same value as the entered by person as this is who we deem to be the initiator (due to the way the form was originally designed). This automatically activates the approval section ths avoiding any confusion with users in how this works.

What Roles have to be included in the Helpdesk Role to allow this functinality?

Is it possible to do this while not giving system or something similar (all access...) rigths to the Helpdesk people?
