Approvals not emailing

How do I get the approval emailed? I have set the approvers up with send an email if I need to approve something in the person profile, do I need to do more?

person should set "send me e-mail when i need to approve the item"

Hi Yvonne,

in addition to Vasily's client setting, it's useful if the person has an email address in his person record.:) I know it's funny, but it's useful to make sure, especially when the records come from an external source.

Hi Yvonne,

Also make sure that the proper application account is attached to the person. If the Servicepage account is attached then the person will not recieve the email.

Yvonne,

Did you match the Servicedesk account with the Servicedesk Person ?
I mean;

Did you fill-in in the field 'Account' in the view Person under Organization ?

If the Servicedesk account is not matched to a person servicedesk does not know how to handle the alerts.
