Application server just for processing Rules, Tasks or Client Connections

There is any way of setting an application server for processing only batch tasks, or just for processing client connections?

I`ve seen some topics (http://forums1.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=1057673) where I can understand that there is a way of balancing the kind of activity that an application server do.

Thanks in advance.

Uncheck the "Accept Console Clients" in the Server Configuration. That way youy could only use it for Imports, ACES etc

Thanks for you reply.

In that case, will it run Tasks generated by DB Rules? or that tasks will only be run on the application server that attended the client that generated it?

As far as I know, tasks are only executed by the server that they were originally scheduled through.
