Application Server not starting

Hi All,

Service Desk Application Server (sp 14) running on Oracle DB Server 9.2.0.7 is not starting up. This was working fine, but today, when I tried to install a client on the same machine, the application server was not starting any more.

I tried to create a new database, and connect it to the server. It is working fine. But when I try to connect to the old database, it is not starting up. I am attaching the server log file along with this. The error is towards the end of the log file.

Can someone please help me out...

Hi Isaac,

I've had a similar problem in the past and back then it was caused by assigning multiple roles to the system administrator account.

THe system administrator account should normally only have the "administrator" role associated with it.

Could this possibly have happened in your case ?
