Application Limits WOrk Orders connected to Changes

Is there a Service Desk limit to the number of work orders which can be linked to a change ?

Is there practical or performance considerations in having many work orders attached to a single change?

Both. Practical, because it must stay maintainable.
Performance: yes, and espacially when using DB rules on the workorders. When creating a change with a template that creates 10 workorders and you save and close this change, all workorders will also be saved and closed. Meaning that if you 3 DB rules on WO, this will create a load of 10 times 3 DB rules (30) DB rules that will be checked on the same time.

This works but I saw environments with 10 times 10 rules (100!) and it took 3 minutes before the change was saved and closed. (it seemed like the client was frozen)

Now I need to discover where rules are being assigned to work orders or figure out how to monitor the amount of resources utilized the close of a ticket.

Will the rules fire on Work Orders that are closed on the open ticket ?
