Appending/Concatenating fields in service Desk

Hello all,
I am using SD Event to update trouble tickets. SD event successfully updates. What i don't want is the text in the field not be replaced by the new text, instead i want is the new text to be concatenated with the previous text in the field.

Its quite urgent, so any help will be highly appreciated :).

adding more,
I configured DB rule. (below)

When incident is modified
where Status (*) equals Env In Progress
TeMIP Outage Concat (Additional Info) (Update Data) Additional Information set to (Concatenate [Additional Information] With [Additional Text])

But it isn't working. :(

Hello,

this little askerisk by Status means that the rule is fired only when the status is changed.
This is the reason why this rule doesn't work.
Put the condition to fire the rule when the field of your additional info is changed.
