Re: Advanced find settings default in SD 4.5

Hi there,

Try setting the default view for the advanced find to one with the Match case clear. To do this go to Tools>System>Presntation>Search>item type and set "View for find results" is a view which has Match case clear.

I think this may help but i have not tested it,

Hi,

you can look ta setting the default view as Ruth mentioned. it would also be adviseable to remove the check for all views. This is a tedious task (speaking from expreience) but ensures that no issues arise out of Match Case being set to yes as default.

Ok Thank you, but how delete the previous criteria when I reopen the Advanced find?

Hi,

what service pack are you on.

When you open advanced find do you get a pop up asking if you want to clear the existing criteria and a check box asking if you want to see this message again?

SP 18

It doesn't ask nothing, to appear the criteria automatically
