Re: Advance find export to Excel spread sheet

Hi Eric,

one way to do it is
From the File Menu set the report style to table
From the File Menu do a Print Preview and choose "Publish" - dont wory if you do not see any data in this screen.
Save as a HTML file
Open the html file in Excel directly or drag the file into an empty .xls sheet.
If needed add border lines

Hoe this helps.

Re: Advance find export to Excel spread sheet

Hello Eric,

Actually there is a 2nd way to do this.
Select all results from the advanced find with shift key at the top and at the bottom.

Next press Ctrl+C and open a excel sheet.

In excel go to edit and do a paste special and choose the desired format.

Re: Advance find export to Excel spread sheet

Hi,

that does work sometimes - however if there are e.g. carraige returns in the text fields the table may not retain its column sorting as it should and then it needs to be manually corrrected.
