I worked with the Asset Tracking software for years. The license count was for number of "clients", meaning the workstations and or servers on which you installed the Asset Tracking "discovery" client.
However, Asset Tracking Edition (ATE) software is no longer a supported application. Support for ATE ended about 3 years ago.
