Is there a way to avoid that a PM assigns tasks to resources in time ranges that differ from those authorized in the staffing profile ? (in my case staffing profile represents workload and actuals are entered in the workplan)
If this is not possible, is there a way at least to notify someone of these differences ?
The differences are shown in the "compare to workplan" button in the staffing profile page, so the data needed is computed someway, what it seems the system is really lacking is an automated control (a rule, a trigger, a report..). to check on this.
