"Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard" - is this platform supported for 8.0

Hi All,

We have configured our PPM on "Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard" operating system. Is it supported? As per the compatibility matrix ; this doesnt seems to be listed explicitly. We are also facing some problem in Telnet. Could it be due to 2008 R2? The only 2008 versions supporting are as follows:

Microsoft Windows Server 2008, Standard Edition or SP1 or SP2
Microsoft Windows Server 2008, Enterprise Edition or SP1 or SP2
Microsoft Windows Server 2008, Datacenter Edition

Both 32 and 64 Bit are listed as supported version.

As someone who's PPM is on Windows I would not recommend it. The app in our experience has poor memory performance and most support reps will send you commands, etc. in the Linux/Unix format, not Windows, so it makes support a bit more difficult. You may be too far down that road to change - hopefully you will not see the problems we do - either way good luck!
