We have a proposal workflow in which we have configured following notification to be fired.
notification Template at Step C :
Request #: [REQ.REQUEST_ID] Description: [REQ.DESCRIPTION] Workflow Step: [WFS.STEP_NAME] Most Recent Note (Authored by [REQ.MOST_RECENT_USER_NOTE_AUTHOR_FULL_NAME]): [REQ.MOST_RECENT_NOTE_TEXT] Please click on the below link to access the Proposal [REQ.REQUEST_URL]
In below scenario Req# 12345 is eligible for user Swamy ,at Step B. As that field1,field2 have Notes History is enabled ,same field changes is seen in notes history in the request Req# 12345.
Existing Notes in order of creation date in the request: At step B, User Goel has changed a field 'field1' value from $55 to $60.( January 28, 2014 10:14:24 AM this is most recent note according to creation date) At Step B, user Vyas has changed field1 value from $1 to $ 2 on(January 17, 2014 07:05:03 AM) At Step B, user Amar changed field2 value from $3 to $4 and added a notes as Approved this request for..on (October 23, 2013 09:12:42 AM) wrote some notes by user Manu at Step B.
At Step B user Swamy took an action, then request is proccessed further and is at Step C. Then the notification which is configured in Step C is "immediate", Hence following notification is fired to the users.
"Most Recent Note (Authored by Amar): it should be Goel Here instead of Amar Field1: $55 to $60 Please click on the below link to access the Proposal" But when you see in the request the most recent note is wrritten By Goel. Why it is showing in the notification as Amar.
Investigation Done here: SELECT * FROM KNTA_FIELD_CHANGE_NOTES_V WHERE parent_entity_primary_key=12345 ORDER BY CREATION_DATE DESC
Here from above query I am able to see that Goel has changed Field1: $55 to $60 and in the request also I am able to see that Goel has changed Field1: $55 to $60 . But only in the notification it is showing that Amar has changed Field1: $55 to $60 .
