Re: "Make a Copy" button

You cannot remove the button from one request, rather you can remove it from all the request. For this you can modify the request jsp.

Re: "Make a Copy" button

Well I know I did it once in a 6.0 environment and it was just a server.conf setting like for the "Save as Draft" button that would turn it off. I have just not been able to find it again.

Re: "Make a Copy" button

We did this in 6.0 by modifying the jsp code. There was no reference in that code to any server.conf parameters that would make the button optional.

Re: "Make a Copy" button

Hi
This button is not allowed if user have only "view request" access grant and on "User Access" tab in Request Type set "Viev request" for group or this user. If user have "edit request" access grant then button is allowed.
Other decision yet I do not know

Re: "Make a Copy" button

Are you just trying to allow the user to make a copy of the request without fulfilling the required fields?

Re: "Make a Copy" button

Could you tell us what did you modify to disable the button?
Which jsp page? (Pageview.jsp or another else)

Re: "Make a Copy" button

We modified one line in the file deploy/itg.war/web/knta/crt/RequestSecButtons.jsp to the following:

if (requestCtrl.canUserCopyRequest() && 1==0) { %>

Since this always evaluates to FALSE, the button is not included.
