"LIGHT_QUEUE_MAX_DEPTH" Configuration Item

"LIGHT_QUEUE_MAX_DEPTH" Configuration Item

What is this configuration mean?

When trying to update budgets in the financial summary form, we have been getting a more "Service Unavailable"  page.

 

From PPM server log on Prod, there are error message like
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
org.quartz.SchedulerException: Job threw an unhandled exception. [See nested exception: org.springframework.jms.UncategorizedJmsException: Uncategorized exception occured during JMS processing; nested exception is org.jboss.mq.DestinationFullException: Maximum size 10000 exceeded for QUEUE.ppmLightServiceQueue]

 

We can not create porject and proposal now

Also when trying to close the proposal to create the project, it fails and does not create the project.

Is there relationship between update the budget and can not create project&proposal.

 

Is someone encounter the same issue,should we enlage the configuration item?

 

Production enviroment

PPM 9.1 SP1

Windows server2008 2 mechines

2 user nodes in one mechine adn 1 services node in the other. Cluster enviroment.

Hi,

 

We never face such issue... may you should synchronize the timing of the scheduled services.. so that the background services never overlap.

 

Temporary resolution for this issue would be... you can increase (more than 10000) the Ligh & Heavy queue depth size in server.conf

 

com.kintana.core.server.HEAVY_QUEUE_MAX_DEPTH                      

com.kintana.core.server.LIGHT_QUEUE_MAX_DEPTH
