I have a field that is 11 numbers long. I have to use Alphnumeric to be able to have 11 characters. BUT I need to be able to catch if user enters less then 11 characters (numbers). Is there a way to do this?
You can create an execution step, that would check through a sql if the length of the data entered in this field is less than 11 characters. You can call the token of this field in the sql of the execution step. If the length is less than 11 characters then route the request back to the previous step from where it came. If it is 11 characters then route to the next step. Also, you can keep a read-only text on the request form right next to or below this field that gives the message to the user saying something like - "This field must have 11 characters otherwise the request will be routed back to you and won't be moved to the next step.".
