is there a way in-system to reset the request no to 30000?

Hi,

As the subject suggests, I am wondering if there is a way to reset the request number back to start state (i.e. 30000) in the PPM application?

I would like to test the environment with some records and then plan to delete those test records and reset the starting request number to 30000.

Thanks.

I'm thinking you would need to modify the sequence KCRT_REQUESTS_S in order to 'reset' this, then restart PPM.

Before you do any testing, take a backup of the database. After testing, delete all contents of the log , attachments, reports and transfers directories and restore the database from the backup. Everything will be back to the starting point.
